5. 24-7 Reusable Bag
Ditch the plastic grocery bags this year and opt for these machine washable, compact and trendy totes. They come in a variety of different colors and hold up to 35lbs! You can find them here.
6. Lush Lotion Bar
Lush is an incredible company in the beauty industry for many reasons – but our favorite is their commitment to sustainable packaging practices. Check out their holiday lotion bars here. Opt for the reusable tin to store your lotion bar year round.
7. Zero Waste Cookbook
Do you have someone in your life that loves to cook? This cookbook is filled with tips and tricks on how to make your food stretch further and reduce waste. You can find it here on Amazon.
8. Nest Thermostat
Google Nest is a smart thermostat that learns what temperatures you like, turns itself down when you’re away and connects to your phone. The Nest Thermostat saved an average of 10% to 12% on heating bills and 15% on cooling bills with average savings of $131 to $145 a year. You can find one here on Amazon.

Excellent ideas thanks. Too bad you missed the bamboo straws available from The Grove Collaborative. I carry them in a little Muslim pouch in my purse. No flavor, easy to wash and totally compostable!
